So it's been six months since my life completely changed forever. It has been wonderful and amazing, and we're so in love with our little girl.
I was so puffy!
First family portrait.
She was so tiny!
We celebrated by giving her some of the homecanned applesauce we made a few months ago after a trip to Greenbluff. She seems to like it, though is a bit unsure.
My beautiful daughter.
She continues to be a delight every single day, and I'm loving watching her learn and explore her world.
Hi! I don't remember how I linked into your blog but am so glad I did...it's unusual to see the name Chae unless you're in Korea. I am not Korean but my 21 year old son is named Chae so I was so excited to see your name, lol. We pronounce his with the hard CH sound (like Charles) and then the "ay" sound. =)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm having fun poking around your blog. Your new baby daughter is gorgeous - congratulations!
That's so cool! I did know that it's a more common name in Korea(I may have Googled myself once or twice, only to find bios of Korean actresses...), I didn't know it was unisex, though. I pronounce it with a soft "SH" sound. It's actually a nickname, when I was a kid I spelled it "Shay".
DeleteThank you, we adore her. She just keeps getting cuter. I'm glad you're enjoying the blog! I don't update as often as I should, I know...
